The workshop on “Quantum Computing Basics & Applications”, set to take place at Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi campus. This workshop is specifically designed for those new to the field and aims to lay the groundwork for understanding the core principles that distinguish quantum computing from classical computing. Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of quantum mechanics as they pertain to computing, exploring qubits, superposition, entanglement, and quantum algorithms. The workshop will also touch upon the implications of quantum computing in various fields such as cryptography, cyber security, optimization, and quantum key distribution etc.. The workshop is an ideal starting point for students who are curious about the subject and seek to get acquainted with the concepts that are shaping the future of technology.
